Room Attendant

Seeking full time Room Attendants (Vacation Home Attendants) to help maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in guest rooms and public areas at Hilton Grand Vacations Whistler.  Room Attendants are responsible for cleaning the suite interior and immediate areas to include patio, balcony and/or deck of the assigned suite in accordance with company policies and procedures, provincial, federal, and local authority guidelines ensuring a clean, sanitary and inviting suite for the guest.  Apply today!

Experienced housekeeper  (6+ months prior housekeeping experience required):

    • PROBY (Tier 1) = $24/hr to start
    • REGULAR (Tier 2) = $26/hr after 10 successful shifts
    • HERO (Tier 3) = $28/hr after 20 successful shifts

*Initial shift will be used to verify experience and cleaning skills by our clients.


Housepersons/Stewards:
  • TIMES:  9am-5pm
  • DUTIES: Assisting with the delivery of supplies to rooms for guests, restocking of carts, shelves and linens, cleaning public areas, removal of garbage and happy to pitch in where needed.
  • SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: No experience required. Friendly, hard-working and happy to pitch in where needed.

The more you work with us, the more you get paid per hour! After you complete 10 probationary shifts, you get a $2/hr wage bump – then you get another bump after 20 shifts for being a HERO!

MINIMUM BASE WAGES—no experience needed:

  • Proby (Tier 1) = $20hr to start plus 4% vacation pay
  • Regular (Tier2) = $22/hr after 10 Successful Shifts
  • Hero (Tier 3) = $24/hr after 20 Successful Shifts

HAVE EXPERIENCE?—earn higher base wages! For example;

  • Experienced Room Attendants currently: $24-$28/hr

TEMP: Labourers

General labourers are always much needed in the Sea-to-Sky.  We have plenty of shifts available in Whistler,  Squamish, and Pemberton to assist with local renovations, construction projects, events and landscaping.  This is a great way to earn extra income, or even try out a new company.  Long-term positions are also available to employees who are interested in staying on, but there’s no commitment required to try out a variety of new job sites!
Temp work is about picking the shifts YOU want WHEN you want.

    DATES: Pick the shifts you would like to work from our available dates. Full-time and part-time hours available, dependent on the client!

  • HOURS: Flexible start times with options to start in the morning, mid day or even the afternoon.
  • LOCATION: Job sites throughout Whistler, Squamish & Pemberton.
  • DUTIES INCLUDE: Involves physical labour and often heavy lifting.  For example, construction labourers assist with general labour and basic construction tasks at job sites that may include using hand and power tools,  basic carpentry tasks, cleaning, organizing, moving materials, heavy lifting and pitching in where needed.    While event labourers help set up and take down staging, gates, tents, chairs, tables and other furniture or equipment.
  • SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Physically fit, ready to work hard, able to lift heavy loads (30-50lbs) and be on your feet all day.  Prior construction or work site experience is always beneficial and often leads to higher wages.
  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS / REQUIREMENTS: STEEL-TOED BOOTS ARE USUALLY REQUIRED! Work gloves, hard hat, and visi-vest are also beneficial on construction sites but not always required.

PROGRESSIVE WAGES: 

    • Whistler Personnel uses a progressive pay system that awards pay increases based on the number of Successful Shifts* – the more you work with us, the more you get paid per hour!
    • HIGHER WAGES are also paid to employees with specific skills or experience.
    • SUPERHERO BONUSES of an extra $2-$4/hr are often offered for last-minute or hard-to-fill shifts!
    • All wages also receive an extra  4% vacation pay on top.

SKILLED  LABOUR (2+ years experience – must have steel toed boots)

    • $25/hr TIER1 Base Wage
    • $27/hr TIER2 after 10 successful shifts

Responsibilities Include:

  • Travelling through the Sea to Sky (90% Whistler job sites) cleaning windows, pressure washing, exterior surfaces, and gutters at residential customers’ homes, storefronts, and large multi-unit buildings inside and out.
  • Build and maintain client relationships.
  • Follow instructions well and relay all job related issues and feedback to team leads.
  • Getting jobs completed on time and to the company quality standard
  • Operation of a variety of tools and equipment
  • Prioritize quality work in a clean and organized manner

Superhero BonusWhistler Personnel uses a progressive pay system that awards pay increases based on number of Successful Shifts completed. The more you work with us, the more you get paid per hour! After you complete 10 probationary shifts, you get a wage bump – then you get another bump after 20 shifts for being a HERO!

MINIMUM BASE WAGES—no experience needed:

  • Proby (Tier 1) = $20hr to start
  • Regular (Tier2) = $22/hr after 10 Successful Shifts
  • Hero (Tier 3) = $24/hr after 20 Successful Shifts

HAVE EXPERIENCE?—earn higher base wages! For example;

  • Experienced Room Attendants: $24-$28/hr  *AVAIL SHIFTS THIS WEEK!
  • Experienced Construction  Labourers: $25-$29/hr *AVAIL SHIFTS THIS WEEK!
  • Carpenters & Skilled Trades: $33-$37/hr *AVAIL SHIFTS THIS WEEK!
