The Project Coordinators will assist the Project Manager and Project Superintendent in bidding, tracking down subcontractor releases, project billings, helping with RFIs, project scheduling and other administrative management.

About the Role, Benefits & Perks:

The Perfect Candidate:
- Project Coordinator experience high-end, custom residential.
- Experience working through design details and constructability challenges directly with architects and designers to achieve design intent.
- Degree in Construction Management or related field OR equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication, team-building and mentoring skills.
- Deep technical building knowledge and experience with both traditional and new materials and methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project Manager or Merlin Schedule.
- Experience with construction management software is a plus but not a requirement (Blue Beam, Procore etc)
Responsibilities Include:
- Bidding / Estimating.
- Budgeting.
- RFI Management Subcontract Management.
- Purchase Order Management.
- Shop Drawing Management.
- Change Order Management.
- Project Billing Review/Approval.
- Risk Management and Forecasting.
- Submittal and Procurement Management.
- Track Subcontractor Insurance.
- Daily constructability problem-solving.
- Partnering with the project manager to develop and manage the project schedule, estimates and sub-contractor contracts.
- Document management – plans, specifications, as-builts, shop drawings, etc.
- Professionally representing EVR Fine Homes with clients, architects, owner’s reps, project managers, subcontractors, management, municipal staff, WCB, neighbors, etc.
- Assist with management of Site Safety – Occupational Health and Safety Program.
- Maintain a current understanding of WorksafeBC regulations and collaborate with EVR Health and Safety Committee to ensure standards are met.
