A well-established, family-owned retail shop in the heart of Whistler Village is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Sales Associate to join their fun, close-knit team.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in sales, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service.  You are detail-oriented, reliable, responsible, and comfortable working independently while also thriving in a close-knit, collaborative team environment.

About the Role, Benefits & Perks:

  • Wage starting in the range of $19-$22 per hour  based on experience.
  • Full-time, year round.,40 hours per week.
  • 5 shifts per week, including both weekdays and weekends.
  • Typical shifts are:
    • 10:00 AM–6:00 PM,
    • 2:00 PM–10:00 PM,
    • 12:00 PM–8:00 PM.
  • Flexibility is important, particularly during busier seasons when part-time staffing and store needs can change.

  • Employee Housing Available.   Private room in 2 bedroom staff house.
  • Will consider out-of-country applicants.   Open to sponsorship/LMIA.

The Perfect Candidate: 

  • Previous retail or customer service experience.
  • Strong sales and communication skills.
  • Eager to learn and take on more responsibility.
  • Reliable, responsible and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable taking initiative and helping with the daily operation of the store.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • A genuine interest in creating a great customer experience.
  • Available to work full-time, including weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service.
  • Helping customers choose the right style, fit, and size.
  • Driving sales and meeting store sales goals.
  • Opening and closing the store.
  • Handling cash and completing end-of-day till procedures.
  • Receiving, unpacking, and organizing new inventory.
  • Managing stock levels and warehouse.
  • Restocking and merchandising product displays.
  • Keeping the store clean and organized.
  • Helping train and support newer team members.
  • Taking initiative during busy periods and helping manage the sales floor.
  • Assisting with general day-to-day store operations.
