The Linen Room Attendant / Houseperson plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of housekeeping services by managing all daily linen processing and inventory control.   Based at an exclusive slopeside property in the Blackcomb Benchlands of Whistler, BC, this position offers you ski-in-ski-out benefits and slopeside parking paired with a flexible schedule so you can  enjoy a few runs before starting your shifts!   Starting wage of $25/hour plus benefits – no prior experience required.

The Perfect Candidate: 

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, laundry services, or inventory control is an asset but not required.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to track and manage inventory efficiently.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and orderliness.
  • Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and move linens and supplies as needed.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Whistler and the surrounding area is an asset.
  • A valid driver’s license is very beneficial.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Support the housekeeping team by maintaining a steady supply of fresh linens, tracking inventory levels.
  • Ensure that essential supplies are well-stocked and organized.
  • Prepare, organize, fold and stock clean linens on carts and in storage areas.
  • Deliver linens, towels, and supplies to different properties as needed.
  • Restock housekeeping carts with guest amenities, and cleaning supplies.
  • Keep linen rooms, storage areas, and workspaces clean, tidy, and well organized.
  • Check linens for cleanliness and quality, and sort used items for laundry or pickup.
  • Help track inventory and let the team know when supplies are running low.
  • Assist with basic housekeeping tasks such as removing garbage or helping with guest requests.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damaged items to the team.
  • Follow safety guidelines and help maintain a safe work environment.
  • Work as part of a team and be ready to jump in and help wherever needed.
