The Perfect Candidate: 

  • 8+ years of construction experience with proven experience leading teams and managing active job sites.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with crews, clients, project managers, and trades.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and project management skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and keep projects on track.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, including renovations, framing, forming, rough-ins, and multi-unit projects. Red Seal Carpentry certification is highly beneficial.
  • Life experience counts! We value hands-on experience, leadership, and a strong work ethic. Training and support will be provided, so candidates are encouraged to apply even if they don’t meet every qualification.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Lead and oversee daily site operations, coordinating lead carpenters, junior workers, and sub-trades to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Manage a variety of construction projects, including renovations, residential builds, commercial projects, and envelope remediation.
  • Coordinate communication between site crews, project managers, clients, and trades to ensure projects run smoothly.
  • Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications and provide clear direction to the site team.
  • Troubleshoot site challenges and make decisions in the field while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.
