General labour and skilled labour/carpenter’s helper shifts are available at a local organic cannabis farm in Pemberton! A GREAT wage of $25-$32/hr is offered, plus a gas allowance and vacation pay.
POSITION: General Labourers – Pemberton
DATES: Monday through Friday available with the potential to be ongoing
HOURS: 9am – 5pm
LOCATION: Pemberton Meadows Road – indoor work!
DUTIES INCLUDE: Assisting with converting a large existing structure into a cannabis processing facility. General labour and basic construction duties including helping to cut pieces of timber. Must be comfortable with the use of basic tools (tools are provided).
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: General labouring experience is required including use of tools. Physically fit, mobile and able to work on your feet for the duration of shift. Friendly, hard-working and happy to pitch in where needed.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS / REQUIREMENTS: STEEL TOED BOOTS REQUIRED. Work gloves also beneficial.
WAGE: $25-$27/hr + GAS/CARPOOL ALLOWANCE if you are driving from Whistler.

Whistler Personnel uses a progressive pay system that awards pay increases based on number of Successful Shifts completed. The more you work with us, the more you get paid per hour.

Tier 2 = $22/hr after 5 successful shifts plus 4% vacation pay

We are recruiting for a general all around carpenter and an experienced labourer to join a local construction company specializing in the building and renovation of high-end residential homes for the summer and potentially long term. Ideally suited to a Journeyman / Journeywoman, however we would also love to hear from carpenters / apprentices with a minimum of two years of experience.
About the Role, Perks and Benefits:

The Perfect Candidate:

Carpenter Duties include:
Build floors and wall frameworks and roof structures.
Install windows, sashes and doors.
Finish carpentry.
Read plans and specifications to determine the materials required, dimensions and installation processes.
Set out building outlines on the ground of the site, using string and pegs to allow for excavations.
Construct form work into which concrete is poured.
Erect temporary structures to facilitate construction of buildings.
Labourer and Carpentry Duties also include:
Assist with general carpentry and construction tasks on job sites.
Cut materials with hand and power tools, and assemble or nail, cut and shape parts.
Be neat in appearance and workmanship.
Be knowledgeable and able to implement safety procedures according to company and WorkSafe BC guidelines.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe worksite.

Project Coordinator
