Housekeeping & Property Inspector

Be an integral part of this dynamic team by preparing various Whistler properties for guest and owner visits.   Starting $26 to $30 per hour based on experience plus wellness benefits and  access to a company vehicle!

Looking for an Accounts Payable / Finance Coordinator to support the organization’s financial and administrative processes for the provision of, complete and  accurate financial information, timely payments and receipts, and relevant reporting.

About the Role, Benefits & Perks:

  • Monthly and ad hoc payment processing.
  • Complete and file statutory reporting for GST, WCB, T5018.
  • Monthly account reconciliations for bank, prepaid expenses, contractor holdbacks AR and AP.
  • Posting and filing of customer progress draw invoices.
  • Reconciliation and posting or real estate sales.
  • Posting general journal entries.
  • Maintain computerized accounting records and digital copies of related invoices, contracts, and related documents.
  • Create and securely store a weekly backup of electronic accounting data.
  • Respond to internal inquiries related to financial transactions, reports and supporting documentation.
  • Liaise with financial departments of suppliers and customers.

  • SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Must have an advanced certification = OFA level 3 or equivalent. Physically fit, mobile and able to work on your feet for the duration of the shift. Friendly, hard-working and happy to pitch in where needed.

  • DUTIES:  General farm labour, assisting with weeding, irrigation, clearing on an organic farm in Pemberton.  Raking and shoveling will be involved and pitching in where needed.  Requires being outdoors and on your feet all day.
  • SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:  No prior experience necessary.  Enjoys working outdoors and getting their hands dirty.   Physically fit, friendly, hard-working and happy to pitch in where needed.
  • ATTIRE:  STEEL TOED BOOTS are required for farm labour shifts (but not the fall harvesting shifts).  Outdoor shifts so dress accordingly – wear sun protection and waterproof layers.  Bring water bottle, lunch  and snacks. Rubber boots and gardening gloves recommended – and bring a clean, dry pair of shoes as well.  Long hair tied back.

WAGE: $24-$26/HR AND 4% VACATION PAY

JOB TITLE: Store Manager
LOCATION: Whistler, BC
TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Full Time
JOB SUMMARY:
  • Full-time, 40 to 45 hours per week.
  • Monday to Friday, on call and weekends as needed.
    • Schedule varies with daytime, afternoon and evening shifts.
  • $25 to $30 per hour to start depending on experience.
  • Tip outs.
  • Discounted or free food & beverages.

THE PERFECT CANDIDATE – Qualifications & Skills:
  • Related experience in food and beverage industry (preferably as a barista and/or in a coffee shop) is an asset.
  • Passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating a fun and safe environment.
  • Hands on experience with brewing equipment.
  • Able to create latte art.
  • Able to work flexible hours which may include mornings, afternoon, evenings, nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • Able to carry up to 50lbs.
  • Leadership.
  • Planning and execution.
  • Scheduling and payroll.
  • Inventory management.
  • Ability to do Latte Art.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages by adhering to company standards while also delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain and handle all equipment
  • Operate the POS (Point of Sales) system and accurately handle cash and credit card payments while following cash handling procedures.
  • Assist with clean-up workstations, set up, and restocking.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following company standard operating procedures.
  • Creating schedules, coaching the team. 
  • Cash handling.
  •  Roasting coffee.
  • Additional tasks.
SCHEDULE DETAILS:
  • Part-time or Full-time.
  • Monday to Friday, on call and weekends as needed.
  • Schedule varies with daytime, afternoon and evening shifts.
SALARY / WAGE RANGE:
  • $25 to $30 per hour to start depending on experience.
