  • WAGES: $28-$32/hr + 4% vacation pay
    • Whistler Personnel uses a progressive pay system that awards pay increases based on the number of Successful Shifts completed. The more you work with us, the more you get paid per hour!
    •  TIER1 (new hire) $28hr
    • TIER2 (after 10 shifts) $30/hr

  • DUTIES: You will be responsible for operating boom trucks to lift, move, and position materials and equipment during the setup of event staging, gates, tents, signage and other aspects of the Invictus Games sites. Project Superintendent (Construction)

Whistler 2020 Development Corporation is looking for an experienced Project Superintendent (Construction) to support the VP of Construction and ensure the successful delivery of multiple three and four story wood frame apartment buildings located in Whistler, BC.

Offering $50 to $65 per hour to start based on experience and with room for growth plus extended health benefits.

  • 5+ years of construction industry experience working on wood frame buildings of different types, including multi-family projects is preferred.

  • Ability to use standard computer software (Microsoft 365) an asset.
  • Effective time and priority management.

  • Ensure coordination of sub trades, monitor and report on sub trade issues and recommend solutions.

  • Ensure that project sites are managed and maintained effectively to facilitate efficient construction.
  • Manage and coordinate temporary facilities and services.
  • Assist with procurement and material receiving to site.
  • Assist with sub-contract administration and reporting and invoice approval.
  • Coordinate project deficiency completion and final delivery/owner turnover.
  • Support sub-contract tender package preparation and award process.
