Whistler Bike Co is seeking experienced bike mechanics to join our dynamic team.

As a full-time mechanic in a busy, high-end service department, you will possess strong mechanical aptitude, independent problem-solving skills, and the ability to consistently produce top-level repair work with minimal supervision.

JOB TITLE: Bicycle Mechanic
LOCATION: Whistler & Pemberton, BC
TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Full Time
JOB SUMMARY:

THE PERFECT CANDIDATE – Qualifications & Skills:
  • At least one year of experience as a bike mechanic in a retail or rental setting.
  • Ability to service all systems and components of modern bicycles – brakes, drivetrains, suspension, wheels.
  • Ability to independently assess and address mechanical issues.
  • Proficiency in servicing Mountain Bikes, Road and Gravel Bikes, and e-Bikes.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Responsible for completing repairs scheduled by the store.
  • Typical repairs include bleeding hydraulic brake systems, installing and adjusting drivetrain components, basic servicing of mountain bike suspension, wheel building, and hub servicing.
SCHEDULE DETAILS:
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Hours of Operation: 10am to 6pm.
  • Hours may vary as the seasons demand.
SALARY / WAGE RANGE:
  • Starting wage up to $22+ per hour depending on experience.
