Pique Newsmagazine is looking for a  Sales Coordinator in their advertising sales department.  Offering $23 per hour plus annual wellness allowance and extended health benefits.

JOB TITLE: Sales Coordinator
LOCATION: Whistler, BC
TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Full Time
JOB SUMMARY:
  • Full-time, year-round; 32 hours per week.
  • Starting wage around $23 per hour with room for growth.
  • Monday to Thursday; typically 9am to 5pm or 8am to 4pm.
  • 4 day work week = 3-day weekends!
  • Extended health benefits.

THE PERFECT CANDIDATE – Qualifications & Skills:
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to work well under pressure while thriving in a fast-paced deadline driven news media environment.
  • Previous experience working with a print/digital media sales team is preferred.
  • Strong administrative and communication skills are essential in this role, and attention to detail is a must.
  • Highly organized and able to act as a liaison between departments, as well as possess a high level of professionalism when dealing with clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Communicating with clients and managing expectations and goals.
  • Helping the sales team to improve their productivity by contacting customers to arrange appointments and ensuring all Sales Representatives have high-quality, up-to-date support material.
  • Handling urgent calls, emails, and messages when sales representatives are unavailable, answering customer queries, informing them of delays,  assistance with delivery of digital products.
SCHEDULE DETAILS:
  • Full-time, year-round, 32 hours per week.
  • Monday to Thursday; typically 9am to 5pm or 8am to 4pm.
SALARY / WAGE RANGE:
  • $23 per hour depending on experience.
