Tax Accountant

Coast Mountain Accounting, a team of Chartered Professional Accountants and Bookkeepers in Pemberton, BC are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

About the Role, Benefits & Perks:

• Full-time,  12 month contract.
• Pemberton, BC.
• You choose a schedule that works for you.
• Typically Monday – Friday, 9am to 5pm, although plenty of room for flexibility.
• Salary starting at $72,080 per year, negotiable based on experience.

The Perfect Candidate: 

• Degree qualified, CPA qualification.
• Must have minimum 1 year experience in T1/T2 & Financial Statement preparation.
• Proficient with computers and basic programs like Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Attention to detail and organization skills a must.
• Excellent communication, problem solving and decision making skills.

Responsibilities Include: 

• Responsible for a dedicated list of clients.
• Focus on compliance and advisory services.
• Financial Statement preparation (Compilation Engagement Reports) including strong Balance Sheet control.
• T1/T2 preparation for a diverse set of clients.
