Whistler Personnel uses a progressive pay system that awards pay increases based on number of Successful Shifts completed. The more you work with us, the more you get paid per hour! After you complete 10 probationary shifts, you get a wage bump – then you get another bump after 20 shifts for being a HERO!

MINIMUM BASE WAGES—no experience needed:

Proby (Tier 1) = $20hr to start
Regular (Tier2) = $22/hr after 10 Successful Shifts

TBYA: Farm Worker & Delivery Driver

A local Whistler farm requires a Farm Worker/Harvester Assistant and Delivery Driver to help out on the farm and take their freshly grown local produce to restaurants in Whistler, Squamish and North Vancouver. The position is full-time, year-round with flexible hours, perfect for anyone who cares about local, organic produce and enjoys variety in their job!

This farm is all about supporting local food security by giving businesses and individuals the chance to purchase fresh produce grown right here in Whistler, using sustainable, organic farming methods. With their indoor growing spaces, they’re able to offer small-scale, niche items year-round, ensuring customers always have access to fresh, locally grown produce.

As a Harvesting Assistant/Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the farm’s produce is harvested efficiently and delivered fresh to the customers. TEMP: Front Desk & Night Audit Agents

We have openings for Front Desk and Night Audit Agents through our Temp Program at various local hotels. If you have experience in hospitality, this could be your perfect side hustle! Wages are from $22/hr to $30/hr based on experience and number of shifts completed, and some positions can be ongoing for the right candidate!

POSITION: OVERNIGHT MANAGER/NIGHT AUDIT
DATES: Dates TBC – they could be casual 1-off shifts, or contracts for a few weeks at a time
HOURS: Approx 11:00pm – 7:30am daily
DUTIES: Manage front desk operations during the night shift, ensuring a warm and professional welcome for all guests. Handle guest inquiries, calls, check-ins and check-outs efficiently, maintaining accuracy and a high standard of service. Complete regular night audit administrative duties and reports.
REQUIREMENTS: Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a front desk, hospitality, or customer service role is ideal but not required.

POSITION: FRONT DESK AGENT
DATES: Dates TBC (Clients often need 3-4 week contracts for 2-5 days a week)
HOURS: Example shifts varying between 7am-3.30pm/ 11am-7.30pm/ 3pm-11.30pm
DUTIES: Assist guests with check-in, check-out, and taking payments in a friendly manner. Answering inquiries, general administration, coordinating with other departments. Light admin duties, and pitching in where needed. Training provided.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Strong customer service and administrative background on a hotel front desk required (2+years preferred), quick to learn new computer programs. Experience using Roomkey software preferred. Friendly, hard-working and happy to pitch in where needed.

TEMP: Carpenters and Trades

Projects throughout Whistler, Pemberton and Squamish require the help of labourers, carpenters, drywallers and trades of all experience levels. They require good physical fitness, willingness to get your hands dirty and work hard, plus a great attitude. Some projects are long-term throughout the winter!

DATES: Shifts available on Weekdays on an ongoing basis
HOURS: Varying start times between 730 am-9 am for 6-9 hours.
LOCATION: Squamish, Whistler & Pemberton
WAGES: $27-$44/hr + 4% vacation pay with experience

POSITION: Certified Trades/Journeymen (Red seal/+6yrs exp)

DUTIES: Responsibilities may include but aren’t limited to performing layout, material take off, planning sequences, reading blueprints/plans, building scaffolding & construction structures, all aspects of installation for commercial/residential renovations.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Must have solid specialized skills as well as prior experience working independently in a similar senior role. Prior experience at renovations and ability to read plans required. Trustworthy and hardworking. Physically fit, mobile and able to lift heavy loads from time to time (up to 50lbs). Friendly, hard-working and happy to pitch in where needed.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Steel toed or sturdy work boots, work gloves and basic hand tools required.
WAGE: $40-$44/hr + 4% vacation pay
- Tier (New hire) = up to $40/hr
- Tier2 (After 10 shifts) = up to $42/hr
- Tier 3 (After 20 shifts) = up to $44/hr
- Must provide proof of certification and initial shifts will be used to verify qualifications.

POSITION: Senior Trades/Project Coordinators (6+ years exp)

DUTIES: Site supervisor/lead hand/project coordinator at residential/commercial renovations. Often includes demolition and installation of drywall, floors, cabinets etc.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Must have solid specialized skills as well as prior lead hand or supervisory experience. Prior experience in renovations and the ability to read plans are also very beneficial. Trustworthy and hardworking. Physically fit, mobile and able to lift heavy loads from time to time (up to 50lbs). Friendly, hard-working and happy to pitch in where needed.

Fun projects throughout Whistler, Pemberton and Squamish require the help of labourers, carpenters, drywallers and trades of all experience levels building fine homes and assisting with completing the renovations of restaurants and hotels. TEMP: OTILLO Event Crew

ÖTILLÖ Swimrun is coming to Whistler and they need YOU! Join this amazing event on July 6th and be part of what makes extreme events and races SO amazing…and get paid while you do it!

Participants in the Swimrun choose between 3 distances: 4miles, 10.6miles, or 23.8miles, completed via a mixture of exactly what the title suggests: swimming and running! We have shifts available supporting this event both on the water and on land, a unique opportunity!

Progressive Wage of $20 to $34/hour plus vacation pay, overtime rates and the potential for perks and rewards! Which means that you can earn over $400 per shift whilst having the best time!

POSITION: Water Safety Support

DATE: Sunday, July 6th
TIMES: Various shift options –
- 6.30am-10.30am (4hrs)
- 7am-11am (4hrs)
- 7am-3pm (8hrs)
- 8.30am-1.30pm (5hrs)
- 9am-1pm (4hrs)
- 10am-3pm (5hrs)
DUTIES: Support water safety for participants during the SwimRun event by providing shoreline or on-water monitoring via YOUR OWN kayak or SUP. Responsibilities include staying alert, assisting distressed participants if necessary, and communicating any concerns to event officials. Full details on duties will be provided via video training before the event.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must bring your own SUP/kayak and PFD (lifejacket).
- A basic understanding of first aid is required (formal certification is NOT mandatory).
- Must be physically able to assist a swimmer onto the SUP/kayak or support them to shore where advanced first aid can be provided.
- Previous water safety, lifeguarding, or paddling experience preferred.
- Reliable, proactive, and safety-minded attitude essential.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: You’ll be patrolling either Alpha, Nita, Alta, Lost or Green lake.
WAGE: $24-$28/hr + 4% vacation pay

DUTIES: The Event Coordinator will serve as the on-site lead for one of two teams (the Aid Station & Flagger staff), acting as the main liaison between the event organizers and the workers on shift. It will be your responsibility to ensure all staff arrive and leave on time, and troubleshoot any issues throughout the day whilst helping out at the start/finish line.

- Previous experience coordinating endurance or sports-related events.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must be confident leading a team and managing logistics in a fast-paced, public-facing environment.

- Event Installation – Assisting with the set up and take down of event staging, gates, tents, signage, and other aspects of event preparation. There is lifting /bending etc. involved, and heavy lifting up to 40lbs.

TEMP: Event Crew & Hosts

Events are back and we need event crew to make them AWESOME! We are so excited to be working with events again and will be looking for EVENT CREWS to assist with local events & weddings. FUN jobs will include ticket takers, promotional hosting, coat check, load-in and setup of supplies, furnishings and decorations for the events then take down and load-out at the end of the event. Earn up to $24/hour + Bonuses!

POSITIONS: Event Crew & Hosts
DATES: Shifts available daily at major events, weddings, parties, corporate conferences and hotel functions.
DUTIES: Assisting with the event set up, teardown and hosting fun corporate events such as “The Amazing Chase” or the “School Supply Scramble” – pre-designed race courses or challenges. Includes crowd control; keeping participants encouraged, excited, involved and making it FUN. Training will be provided. Various opportunities for events also include coat check, ticket scanning, wrist-banding and crowd management.

Chief Development Officer

Responsibilities Include:

Reporting to: Director & Chief Curator.
Create and implement development strategies including: sponsorships, donations, planned giving, AAMF endowment support, in-kind donations and assists with fundraising events as they relate to organizational priorities, Special Exhibitions and engagement activities.
Direct and execute the annual Audain Gala, in partnership with the Gala Committee and sub-committees.
Build, track, manage and renew all relationships including Circle Memberships, individual philanthropists and sponsors, working in collaboration with the AAMF as appropriate.
Working with the Director & Chief Curator, AAM Trustees, staff team, and the Executive Officer of the AAMF to develop and implement strategies to deliver on the AAMF endowment goal.
Create and coordinate communications related to development activities including: sponsorship proposals, agreements, final and internal reporting, annual and planned gifts.
Research and cultivate prospective sponsors, individual and corporate donors, members and major gifts and assist with identifying revenue targets for budget planning purposes.
Attend events, receptions and dinners in collaboration with the Director & Chief Curator as they relate to development priorities.
Organize Founder and VIP events and engage the community of supporters to source donations, in-kind contributions and promote ticket sales.
Formulate and manage development budget.
Travel required.

Beekeepers & Hive Management
