The Perfect Candidate: 

  • 2+ years experience in a similar role with a focus on managing and developing successful teams.
  • You’ll foster a positive, motivated team while ensuring smooth operations, excellent service, and a welcoming guest experience.
  • A natural leader who can manage various situations professionally, with great communication skills.
  • Eager to consistently  enhance the business and drive growth.
  • Prioritizes maintaining an exceptional reputation of the cafe and brand through customer engagement, responsive service, and fostering positive relationships.
  • Creative and forward thinker who anticipates future needs to ensure the cafe thrives and prospers.
  • Holds a valid BC Drivers License.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Day to day business operations including leadership and team management, operational excellence, customer service and satisfaction, quality control/health and safety, and financial management.
  • Manage staff and schedule, finding new team members.
  • Actively engage with customers, provide exceptional service, and build strong relationships with the team.
  • Monitor sales, labour costs, and performance goals.
  • Oversee and actively participate in all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including dining, kitchen, inventory, and customer service.
  • Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Help organize community events and local marketing efforts, implement store promotions.
