Strata Maintenance

Whistler Property Maintenance Ltd. has a full-time opening for a Strata Maintenance professional. This is a great opportunity for someone who is naturally handy and enjoys a variety of hands-on maintenance tasks.

The ideal candidate will have experience with painting, mechanical checks, pressure washing, and basic electrical and plumbing repairs, along with a practical, can-do attitude and strong attention to detail.

Offering a flexible schedule, starting wage of $26.50 – $28.00 per hour, plus perks and benefits.

About the Role, Benefits & Perks:  

• Wage range of $26.50-$28.00 per hour
• Full-time, 35-40 hours per week, 5 shifts per week.
• Day and evening shifts available.   Looking to fill more evening shifts than day shifts.
• AM shift: 8am-4pm / PM shift: 2pm to 10pm.
• Schedules and hours are flexible.  Weekend shifts available.
• Ski pass financing with 50% end-of-season cashback bonus, per contract.
• Extended Health package available after 3-months.
• On site parking.
• Variety of paid online safety courses offered.
• Will not consider applicants who are out-of-country.

The Perfect Candidate: 

• Previous experience in property, building, hotel, resort, or strata maintenance
• Strong general maintenance and repair skills
• A practical, “figure it out” attitude
• Ability to identify issues before they become larger problems
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Confidence working independently and prioritizing multiple tasks
• Professional, friendly, and respectful communication skills
• A strong sense of responsibility for the property and its appearance
• Ability to coordinate with outside contractors when specialized work is required
• Legally employable in Canada. Reside in the Sea-To-Sky corridor.

Responsibilities Include: 

• General common area maintenance, indoor and outdoor.
• Routine check on building mechanical equipment.
• Report health and safety concerns as they arise.
• Report damage and imminent concerns if unable to manage alone.
• Contact sub-trades and 3rd parties as required.
