We have an opening for experienced Business Operator to run our rapidly growing e-commerce business based in Whistler.
This is not a typical “e-commerce manager” role. We’re looking for an operator—someone who can take over day-to-day operations, manage website, inventory, all logistics, global sales, customer service, current staff, social media platforms and essentially ‘own the performance of the business’.
This is a unique chance to run a company that is established, profitable, and rapidly growing. A rare opportunity to step in and operate a successful company like it’s your own. 
About the Role, Benefits & Perks:
- Full-time, year round.
- Based in Whistler (possibly Sea to Sky).
- Schedule requires flexibility, based on business needs.
- $80,000–$120,000 base + performance bonus tied to profitability.
- Long-term incentive opportunity for the right candidate.
The Perfect Candidate:
- Must have a minimum of 3 or more years as a hand-on business operator in a successful company
- Has operated or helped run an e-commerce business
- Has extensive website experience with e-comm platforms (I.e. Shopify, Miva etc.)
- Strong execution and operational mindset
- Comfortable with inventory-based businesses and related logistics
- Excellent problem solving & customer service skills
- Financially literate (margins, cash flow, unit economics)
- You want to run a business hands on—not just manage a narrow function of it
- Based in Whistler / Sea-to-Sky or willing to relocate.
Responsibilities Include:
Operations
- Run day-to-day execution of the business
- Ensure systems operate smoothly without owner involvement
- Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies
Inventory & Supply Chain
- Manage forecasting, purchasing, and stock levels
- Coordinate with suppliers and fulfillment partners
- Prevent stockouts and excess inventory
Financial Performance
- Own profitability and margins
- Track key metrics (revenue, costs, cash flow)
- Make decisions that improve performance
Team Leadership
- Manage and develop team members
- Build accountability and execution standards
- Work with existing staff and hire when needed
Decision-Making
- Operate independently on day-to-day decisions
- Escalate only strategic or high-impact issues
What Success Looks Like
- Business runs smoothly without daily owner involvement
- Revenue is stable or growing
- Margins are maintained or improved
- Inventory and operations are well controlled
- Team operates independently
