A local transportation company, specializing in private transportation for guests to and from Whistler, is looking for an Operations Manager to lead their team.  Ideally suited for an experienced, innovative, energetic, positive person with initiative and great people and organizational skills.

Offering $60,000+ per year to start plus an annual lifestyle allowance and extended health benefits.

  • Full-time, year-round, 40 hours per week.
  • Thursday to Monday schedule.
  • $60,000+ per year to start with room for growth.
  • Work phone and laptop provided.
  • Extended health benefits available after 3 months.

  • 2 weeks paid vacation in the first year.

The Perfect Candidate: 

  • Previous management and leadership experience.
  • Background working in transportation industry is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and motivational skills.
  • Able to build positive working relationships with effective problem-solving skills.
  • Great time management and multitasking abilities.
  •  Work well under pressure and handle high stress situations.
  • Valid BC Driver’s License with clean driving record; prefer Class 4 Unrestricted license.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Manage day to day operations including scheduling, delegating responsibilities and building a positive team environment.
  • Hire and train all new staff joining the team.
  • Work together with dispatch to schedule staff for driving shifts.
  • Work with mechanics to organize and oversee vehicle maintenance.
  • Clean and detail fleet and make small repairs when needed.
