The Perfect Candidate:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in carpentry with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and project stakeholders.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor as required on construction sites.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities Include:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the Site crew and the Site Supervisor.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate project execution.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate carpentry work to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and uphold high standards of workplace safety.
- Perform complex carpentry tasks including framing, finishing, and installation.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials to ensure efficiency and quality of work.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to resolve issues and provide progress updates.
- Train and mentor junior carpenters to develop their skills and knowledge.
