Now Hiring for a  Lead Carpenter who plays a crucial role in supervising and guiding a team of carpenters and apprentices, and collaborating closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to deliver exceptional results.

About the Role, Benefits & Perks:

  • $45 – $55 per hour based on experience.

The Perfect Candidate: 

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in carpentry with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and project stakeholders.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor as required on construction sites.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the Site crew and the Site Supervisor.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate project execution.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate carpentry work to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and uphold high standards of workplace safety.
  • Perform complex carpentry tasks including framing, finishing, and installation.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and materials to ensure efficiency and quality of work.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to resolve issues and provide progress updates.
  • Train and mentor junior carpenters to develop their skills and knowledge.
