Heavy Duty Mechanic

CATA Management Ltd. is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic with extensive experience diagnosing mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance, and conducting complex repairs on heavy equipment.  This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of heavy machinery, including excavators, loaders, dump trucks, and more.   Apply today!

About the Role, Benefits & Perks:

• Full-time, year round.
• Pemberton, BC.
• Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm is an average shift.
• Overtime pay.
• Wage starting in the range of $40.00 – $75.00 per hour.

The Perfect Candidate: 

• Red Seal Certification or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience working with heavy machinery.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 is a bonus).

Responsibilities Include: 

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Conduct inspections to ensure equipment meets safety and performance standards.
• Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure equipment uptime.
• Parts inventory and ordering.
