The Perfect Candidate: 

  • 2 years of similar experience with sound knowledge of the construction industry.
  • Work independently with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
  • Cost Control: experience working with and adhering to budgets, able to create reports on costing data.
  • Create professional presentations and confidently present to clients.
  • Amazing analytical and math skills.
  • Team player; works collaboratively with others for successful outcomes.
  • Very detail oriented and organized.
  • Ability to understand technical drawings and requirements.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for a project.
  • Estimate costs by looking at the entire project.
  • Present cost estimates to clients.
  • Prepare reports detailing all of the costs going into a project.
  • Notice differences between estimated cost and actual cost.
  • Analyze customer requirements for a project.
  • Work with site superintendents to track project profitability.
  • Coordinate with clients and designers regarding specifications.
