Searching for an exceptional individual to join a wonderful team in Whistler as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager! Assist the Housekeeping Manager with day to day operations in overseeing a team of housekeepers while building partnerships with other local management teams. The Perfect Candidate:
- High School diploma or equivalent training/experience required
- 3 years related housekeeping experience
- 2+ years supervisory experience is an asset
- 1-3 years hospitality customer service experience is an asset
- Competent computer skills across laptops, tablets and mobile devices
- Availability to work Sunday through Saturday (2 days off per week)
- Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of time
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Valid drivers license required
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist the Housekeeping Manager with daily operations
- Hiring, training and motivating staff and colleagues
- Support the Housekeeping manager in an effort to ensure proper staffing and scheduling for maximum productivity and efficiency
- Communicate priorities to staff through daily and weekly meetings
- Participate in daily operations including cleaning and inspecting of units to maintain standards
- Identify and report maintenance related problems
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with fellow regional team members and upper management team
- Perform other duties as needed
