Several general labourers are needed ASAP by a  local construction specializing in building and renovating luxury homes in Whistler.    Prior experience is beneficial but not required – making this a great way to start learning the construction industry from masters of the trade.   Starting immediately with trial shifts and then offering full-time hours and competitive wages plus benefits for the right candidates. 

About the Role, Benefits and Perks:

  • Several full-time, long-term positions available.
  • Typical hours are Monday to Friday with some flexibility.
  • Competitive wage starting in the range of $22-$26/hr with basic experience or $25-$29/hr with 2+ years of prior construction experience.

Perfect Candidate:

  • Keen to learn and pitch in where needed.
  • Experience preferred but not required.
  • Must have steel-toed boots.  Work gloves and a tool belt are also recommended.
  • Physically fit, mobile, able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for the duration of the shift.
  • Friendly, hard-working and a great team player.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist with general labour and basic construction tasks at high end residential construction and renovation sites in Whistler.
  • Using basic hand and power tools as required.
  • Implement safety measures and maintain a clean work environment to ensure a safe and efficient worksite.
  • Cleaning, organizing, moving materials, and pitching in where needed.
