Wild Havens Glamping is seeking a Lead Hand for the upcoming season. We operate our pop-up glamping rentals in Squamish, Pemberton and throughout BC.

JOB TITLE: Lead Hand
LOCATION: Pemberton, BC
TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Full Time
JOB SUMMARY:
  • Seasonal: May to September.
  • Average of 35 hours per week; can vary.
  • Salary of $4200 / month.
  • End of Season Bonus available.
  • Use of company equipment.
THE PERFECT CANDIDATE – Qualifications & Skills:
  •  Valid driving license.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work long hours in challenging conditions.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
  • Physically fit for manual labor.
  • Availability from May to September.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: A typical day for the lead hand comprises loading the trailer at the yard, driving to the venue, liaising with venue staff or clients, setting up tents (which can vary from 2 to 10 hours), and returning to the yard for potential reloading of equipment.

  • Independently manage the setup and furnishing of glamping tents at weddings, festivals, and events.
  • Coordinate with clients and venue staff to ensure timely setup and meet expectations.
  • Lead ad hoc teams of occasionally up to 6 staff, ensuring work is completed to high standards.
  • Drive trucks and long trailers to transport equipment.
  • Provide attention to detail in bedding and furnishings setup.
SCHEDULE DETAILS:
  • Average of 35 hours per week.
  • The schedule is very varied.  Some periods are very busy but then there are also quieter periods.
  • We can provide a schedule for the season for you to plan around.
SALARY / WAGE RANGE:
  • Salary of $4200 / month.
  • End of Season Bonus available.
