Whistler Resort Management is looking to grow their maintenance department and hiring Technicians.   Suited to those with some previous maintenance or trades experience with good communication and interpersonal skills, who want to grow within the property maintenance field.

JOB TITLE: Maintenance Technician
LOCATION: Whistler, BC
TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Full Time
JOB SUMMARY:
  • Full-time, year-round with lots of growth potential within the company.
  • 35 hours per week one week, 45 hours the following week to allow for a flex day every 2nd week.
    • Must be available to work weekends: Thursday to Monday/Friday to Monday.
  • $23 to $25 per hour depending on experience.

  • Vehicle supplied while working.
THE PERFECT CANDIDATE – Qualifications & Skills:
  • Some experience is an asset but not required; open to entry level candidates.
  • Self motivated and keen to learn.
  • Good with people, work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Keen to learn, take initiative and build a career in the construction field.
  • A Reliable team player with a great positive-can-do attitude is highly valued.
  • Ability to take and follow direction, confident to work with limited supervision.
  • Handy and able to do basic repairs.
  • Must have valid driver’s license.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Maintain a portfolio of properties on a weekly basis.
  • General repairs to residential and commercial buildings.
  • Site clean-up.
SCHEDULE DETAILS:
