Corduroy Cleaning Co. in Whistler, BC is seeking punctual and detail-oriented cleaners that take pride in their work, and are committed to high standards of cleanliness to join their team today. Be part of a growing company hiring a Full-time Lead as well was full-time and part-time Cleaners to help with short term rental turnovers in the Village and Upper Village. Offering FT & PT year round work, and opportunities to expand and grow within the company.
About the Role, Benefits & Perks:

- Weekends: required for both roles. Sundays are our busiest day, every week of the year.
- 4% vacation pay and statutory holiday pay with holiday shifts paid at the statutory rate.
- Schedule is set off the booking calendar a week ahead.
- Flexibility: the 10am to 4pm turnover window is fixed and cannot move.
- Seasonal bonus, both roles. Paid twice a year, end of April and end of November.
- Mileage at the CRA rate if you use your own vehicle.
- Room to grow. Rate and hours reviewed at 3 months.

- 5 shifts a week, typically 20 to 30 hours.

Days off are midweek, currently Tuesday and Wednesday.
- Operations Lead: $30.00/hour
- Health spending account, Operations Lead. $1,000 a year after 3 months.
- Flexibility: the 10am to 4pm turnover window is fixed and cannot move.
- Some flexibility to shift evening work like laundry and maintenance.
- Hours fluctuate with the season.
- Peak weeks in July, August and over Christmas can be as high as 35 for the Lead.
- Shoulder season (October, November, May) are quieter, closer to 20.
- Christmas and long weekends are our busiest and both roles need to be available
- The Lead role is expected to grow toward full time in spring, and there will be more work as we take on more units.
- Real ownership for the Lead. You run the schedule and the standard once trained, reporting straight to the owner.
Part-Time Cleaner
- Shifts are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays.
- 8 to 10 hours a week across one to three shifts.
- Shifts run 3 to 5 hours between 10am and 4pm, never less than 3 hours. No nights.
- Set the schedule off the booking calendar a week ahead.
- Part-Time Cleaner: $27.00/hour.
- Flexibility: the 10am to 4pm turnover window is fixed and cannot move.
The Perfect Candidate:
- Reliable. If you say you will be there, you are there.
- Available weekends and holidays, with midweek days off for the Cleaning Lead Role. Our busiest days are Sundays and over the holidays.
- Comfortable with a phone app for schedules, checklists and photos.
- Takes pride in the work. You are the last person in the unit before a guest arrives.
- For the Lead role: basic handyman ability or the willingness to learn, and a vehicle is an asset.
Responsibilities Include:
- Turn over condos and townhomes between guests: beds, bathrooms, kitchen, floors, restock and reset.
- Run the linen program: strip, wash, fold and restock from our linen pool.
- Report damage and low supplies the same day, with photos, through our app.
- Light maintenance as it comes up: tighten a door handle, unclog a drain, reset an appliance (Lead role).
- Keep the standard high on every unit. You are the last person in before a guest arrives.
