We assist customers with any inquiry, package meat products, replenish display cases and maintain a clean and sanitized work environment.

JOB TITLE: Meat Cutter
LOCATION: Whistler, BC
TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Full Time

THE PERFECT CANDIDATE – Qualifications & Skills:
  • Impeccable level of cleanliness, attention to detail, and organization.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt well to shifting priorities.
  • Highly self-motivated and work well under minimal supervision.
  • Possess strong customer service skills.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work well with others in a high-pressure environment.
  • 1+ years of experience working as a Butcher/Meat Cutter or related field.
  • Must have a valid work authorization in Canada.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Cutting, grinding, and preparing meats for sale.
  • Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment and ensuring displays and signage are accurate.
  • Weighing, packaging, pricing, and displaying products.
  • Keeping records, budgets, and inventory.
  • Performing quality inspections on meats and other products.
  • Negotiating and confirming orders with suppliers.
  • Adhering to food safety and sanitation controls.
  • Coordinating deliveries or order pickups.
  • Performing any additional duties assigned by the Department Leaders.
SCHEDULE DETAILS:
  • 40 hours per week, 8 hour shift.
  • Evening and Morning shifts.
  • Weekends as needed.
SALARY / WAGE RANGE:
  • Negotiable and further discussed during interview process.
