The Brew Creek Centre and Farm has an opening for a new driver who will assist their team to harvest, pack and deliver their freshly grown, local produce to restaurants in Whistler, Squamish and Vancouver. Ideally suited to someone who enjoys working with people – both as part of a team as well as with customers. The position is year-round, 3 days a week and offers an opportunity to work some trial shifts so you can decide if the role is right for you.
About the Role, Benefits & Perks:
- Part-time, 3 days a week with potential for extended hours during busy times.
- Typically Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays
- 8am to 4.30pm with a 1 hour lunch (flexible)
- Starting wage between $22-$26/hr based on experience.
- Complimentary farm produce on selected products.

The Perfect Candidate:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Pays careful attention to details and will keep accurate delivery records.
- Interested in learning about and participating in the local farming process – previous farming experience beneficial.
- Valid Class 5 Driver License with experience driving in all conditions – including Canadian winters!
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of the restaurants in Whistler is very beneficial.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with the harvesting, packaging and delivering of fresh produce to restaurants in Whistler, Squamish and Vancouver each week.
- Represent the company with clients in a friendly, professional manner.
- Checking orders to invoices, loading the van, delivering to restaurant kitchens and then returning the van and empty bins.
- Assist with the harvesting of various crops – sort, wash, and pack produce for delivery with care.
- Collect signatures upon delivery and keep accurate records of orders.
- Assist with retreats and other farm-related tasks during off seasons.
- Safely drive a Ford Transit Van (tall roof) in a courteous manner.
- Reliable and able to commit to the weekly delivery schedule year-round (excluding 2 weeks paid vacation time of course!)
- Must also ensure the van is refueled and cleaned and any maintenance issues are reported promptly.

The Brew Creek Centre and Farm, located just 15 minutes south of Whistler, houses a 3-acre Market Garden, including two geodesic growing domes, that grows a variety of year-round vegetables, herbs, microgreens, and seasonal flowers. We take pride in our local food growing program, a sustainable regenerative approach to farming.
