Searching for Installation Technicians & Fabrication Technicians to join a talented team of engineers, designers and tradespeople working on curtainwall glazing systems for high end construction. Curtainwall glazing creates large glass openings that integrate into the building envelope and structure presenting the opportunity to create truly unique buildings. - Part-time may be available for the right candidate.
- Usual schedule Monday-Friday

The Perfect Candidate:
- Experience working in construction, production and ideally the glazing or manufacturing trade with working knowledge of power tools and hand tools is an asset.
- Other experience in hands on jobs such as repair or installation
combined with the initiative to learn would also be an excellent
basis for training. - Ability to read shop drawings is an asset
- Eagerness to learn and develop strong skills within the trade and adapt to alternate construction methods.
- Solid work ethic, results oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to problem solve and adapt to new conditions in collaboration with the team.
- Reliable, Confident, Efficient, Knowledgeable, Team Player.
Responsibilities include:
- Fabricate curtain wall window, skylights, doors and operable vent systems.
- Install architectural curtain wall system, skylights, sliding doors, and other window systems according to specifications and building codes.
- Read and interpret shop drawings and work orders.
- Work as part of a team to execute daily tasks on site.
- Assist in shop to produce components as required.
- Execute work to a high level of detail, adhering to quality control standards and standard operating procedures.
- Complete tasks and corresponding paperwork for accurate information flow.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Be an active part of the health and safety program.
