Current Openings Include:
- Carpenters
- Full time year-round, Monday-Friday, 8 hrs a day
- Wage: Starting in the range of $30 and higher per hour based on experience
- Ideal candidate: High school diploma with carpentry certification or 3 years experience. Understand requirements for residential and/or commercial construction projects for major trades at rough in and finishing stages (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, millwork, interior finish). Proficient understanding of carpentry techniques, methods of installation and ability to read technical documents and drawings. Experienced in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.
- Carpenter Assistants
- Full time year-round, Monday-Friday, 8 hrs a day.
- Wage: Starting in the range of $25 and higher per hour based on experience.
- Ideal Candidate: Carpentry certification or experience. Basic understanding of architectural and structural blueprints/plans, carpentry techniques and methods of installation. Good understanding of wood properties. Some experience with using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools
- Basic tools and tool belt are required.
- Labourers
- Full time year-round, Monday-Friday, 8 hrs a day.
- Wage: Starting in the range of $22-$24/hr based on experience.
- Ideal Candidate: Construction knowledge – good overall understanding of construction process an asset. Good knowledge of construction materials, tools, and machinery used an asset.
- Site Supervisor
- Full time year-round, Monday-Friday, 8 hrs a day.
- Wage: Starting in the range of $35 and higher per hour based on experience.
- Ideal Candidate: Minimum 5 years’ experience as carpenter in residential and/or commercial construction projects. Experienced in residential construction projects up to $3 million. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and create material lists. Strong knowledge of current provincial & municipal building codes standards and regulations. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor under pressure to provide superior service to clients and guide fellow employees and trades to work cohesively.
- Project Coordinator
- Full time year-round, Monday-Friday, 8 hrs a day.
- Wage: Starting in the range of $25 and higher per hour based on experience.
- Ideal Candidate: A minimum of three years’ project coordinator experience with Construction Management project delivery in a high-end, custom-designed residential and commercial construction (up to $3 million). Degree/Diploma in Construction or Engineering program beneficial. Familiarity with CCDC 5A and 5B contracts. Experienced in project execution. Understand/interpret contract documents, ability to read drawings to define project specifications, ability to develop construction costing and project scheduling, ability to manage estimating, purchasing, take-offs and monitor key performance indicators
- Project Manager
- Full time year-round, Monday-Friday, 8 hrs a day.
- Wage: Starting in the range of $40 and higher per hour based on experience.
- Ideal Candidate: Experienced in residential and/or commercial construction project execution: understand/interpret contract documents, ability to read drawings to define project specifications, ability to develop construction costing and project scheduling, ability to manage estimating and purchasing and monitor key performance indicators. Minimum of 3 years experience in managing residential and commercial projects up to $3 million. Strong knowledge of current provincial & municipal building codes. Degree/Diploma in Construction or Engineering program beneficial.
