About the Role, Perks and Benefits:

The Perfect Candidate:
- Housekeeping or previous customer service experience an asset but not required.
- Great attention to detail as well as fine observational skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work unsupervised as well as a team.
- A positive, friendly, team centred attitude and willingness to pitch in and help out is all you need.
Responsibilities Include:
- Cleaning and sanitizing of guest rooms.
- Including but not limited to stripping rooms, making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming, moping.
- Complete any assigned paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Co-operate with the housekeeping team to complete all assigned tasks for the day in a timely and efficient manner, including room cleaning, supply re-stocking, cleaning of common areas, and any other duties as reasonably requested by the Housekeeping Manger or Supervisor.
- Promptly respond to guest requests in a professional manner.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues.
- Comply with Occupational Health and Safety Program and the Regulation of WorkSafeBC.
- Report any unsafe conditions, practices or injuries to their supervisor as soon as possible.
