Now hiring a HR Administrator to join the team of a long established, reputable, grocer in Pemberton. Ideal for someone with experience in HR Support and office operations who is discreet, detail-oriented and enjoys being part of a busy, people focused team.
Offering a wage in the range of $28 – $35 per hour, 4 day work week (32 hours), plus great benefits and perks!
About the Role, Benefits & Perks: (Heading 3, Bolded)
- Salary Range: $28 – $35 per hour
- Schedule: 32 hours per week, 4 day work week.

The Perfect Candidate:
- 1 – 2 years of experience in office operations or HR Support
- Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices
- Comfortable using HRIS / HR software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, approachable, and able to build positive relationships with employees and management
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding and offboarding is an asset
- Knowledge of BC employment standards and workplace regulations is an asset
- Experience maintaining employee records and confidential information is an asset.
- Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- High school diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resoures or Business Administration is an asset
Responsibilities Include:
- Record Keeping: Update and maintain accurate personnel files and databases.
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Prepare contracts, collect new hire paperwork, and coordinate orientation logistics.
- Employee Support: Serve as the first point of contact for daily staff questions regarding benefits, leave, and company policies.
- Payroll and Benefits Support: Track sick days, vacation time, and hours to assist the payroll department.
- Reporting: Generate basic data reports and metrics on turnover, attendance, and staffing.
