Front of House Support – Host & Expo
The Pare Restaurant Group, which includes Caramba, Quattro, and Lorette restaurants in Whistler, has an opening for a friendly and enthusiastic Front of House Support team member who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and keeping service running smoothly. This role combines the welcoming, guest-facing responsibilities of a Host with the fast-paced support of an Expo/Busser, making you an important part of the overall dining experience.
As a Front of House Support team member, you will help create a seamless experience from the moment guests arrive through to the moment their meal reaches the table. You will welcome and assist guests, help manage the flow of the dining room, support reservations and seating, coordinate food from the kitchen, clear and reset tables, and assist servers wherever needed.

The Perfect Candidate:
- Friendly, approachable, and genuinely passionate about providing excellent guest service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable interacting with guests while also working behind the scenes to support the service team.
- Able to stay organized, calm, and focused in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when it comes to food presentation, cleanliness, and guest experience.
- A team player who is willing to jump in and assist wherever needed.
- Physically able to stand, walk, and move throughout the restaurant for extended periods.
- Flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic computer skills and previous hospitality or customer service experience are an asset, but not required.
Responsibilities Include:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating, reservations, and waitlists.
- Help maintain an organized and welcoming host stand and entrance area.
- Communicate with guests, servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure a smooth flow of service.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure food is delivered accurately and promptly.
- Check dishes for presentation and accuracy before they leave the kitchen.
- Assist servers with running food, responding to guest requests, and providing general service support.
- Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently to prepare for incoming guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dining room, host area, and service stations.
- Restock necessary service supplies such as menus, napkins, silverware, and condiments.
- Jump between Host, Expo, and Busser duties based on the needs of the restaurant and the flow of service.
