Black Bear Carpet Cleaning Ltd. is hiring a full-time Production Manager to lead their production team, oversee day-to-day operations, and play a key role in driving the continued growth of their business in Whistler, BC.
About the Role, Benefits & Perks:
- Full-time, year-round, 40 hours per week
- Whistler, BC.
- $85,000-120,000 per year, based on experience

The Perfect Candidate:
- 3–5+ years of leadership or management experience, ideally in a service-based, trades, construction, cleaning, hospitality, landscaping, or other hands-on industry.
- Strong people-management experience, including hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, performance management, and handling employee concerns.
- Hands-on and operationally minded, comfortable stepping into the field and working alongside the team when needed while still overseeing the bigger picture.
- Highly organized and process-focused, with experience improving systems, coordinating crews, managing inventory, equipment, records, and day-to-day operations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, confident handling client concerns, complaints, estimates, and production issues professionally.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities, with the initiative to identify issues, take ownership, and find practical solutions.
- Positive, reliable, and team-oriented, with the ability to build a strong team culture, lead meetings, enforce safety standards, and contribute to the continued growth of the company.
Responsibilities Include:
- Work closely with the Office Manager to ensure crews are scheduled efficiently and production runs smoothly. Step into field operations when needed to support the team.
- Recruit, interview, onboard, train, and manage technicians while monitoring performance and ensuring employees follow company policies and expectations.
- Work directly with the Company Owner to develop and improve production systems, processes, and procedures that support the continued growth of the business.
- Handle client concerns, complaints, and production issues professionally, always prioritizing customer satisfaction and finding effective solutions.
- Complete in-person estimates when production allows, perform stain removal appointments and touch-ups, and ensure work is completed to company standards.
- Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed, coordinate regular staff training, and oversee the maintenance of company vehicles and production equipment.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels and accurate records of cash reports, payouts, losses, invoices, and other business transactions.
- Lead production and bi-weekly team meetings, organize team-building activities, and help foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative workplace.
- Monitor staff housing and assist with related errands and operational needs as required.
