As Fulfillment Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring orders move efficiently from our warehouse to customers, dealers, and distributors worldwide. You will work closely with our Sales, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to maintain accurate inventory, coordinate shipments, support customer service, and help create an exceptional brand experience with every order.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of logistics, warehouse operations, customer service, and hands-on product work.  Attention to detail, initiative, and a passion for mountain biking are essential.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience with shipping, fulfillment, warehouse operations, or inventory management.
  • Confidence using computers, including Microsoft Office, Excel, shipping software, ERP systems, and POS platforms.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Experience in the bicycle industry, retail, or customer service is an asset.
  • Experience handling warranty claims is an asset.

Order Fulfillment & Shipping
Working closely with the Logistics Associate, you will:

  • Accurately pick, pack, and ship daily customer, dealer, and distributor orders.
  • Coordinate outgoing shipments through FedEx, UPS, Canada Post, Comox, freight carriers, and other shipping partners.
  • Monitor shipment status and tracking information to ensure timely delivery.
  • Provide shipment schedules, dispatch updates, and estimated arrival times to internal teams.
  • Process shipments using Shopify, ShipStation, Boxify, freight platforms, and other logistics systems.
  • Manage international shipping requirements including duties, taxes, HS codes, country of-origin documentation, and trade agreement compliance.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to customer shipping inquiries via phone and email.
  • Ensure all products are packaged securely, accurately, and professionally.

Customer Experience

  • Maintain a high standard of accuracy and quality control for every order.
  • Verify large distributor orders and mechanic shipments before dispatch.
  • Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status, tracking information, and shipment issues.
  • Process customer returns, refunds, and warranty-related shipments.
  • Track return reasons and identify recurring issues to improve processes and customer satisfaction.

Fulfillment Operations

  • Maintain accurate order notes, tags, and records for returns, warranty claims, out-of stock items, and shipping discrepancies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve fulfillment workflows and warehouse efficiency.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area.
  • Support inventory accuracy through consistent fulfillment procedures and communication with the Inventory Team.

Warehouse & Inventory Support

Working closely with the Purchasing and Warehouse Manager, you will:

  • Assist with container preparation, receiving, unloading, and inventory verification, as well as labelling, organizing, and storage.
  • Support weekly warehouse organization, stock replenishment, and inventory management activities.
  • Participate in inventory counts and inventory control processes.
  • Maintain warehouse labelling systems and storage organization.
  • Contribute ideas that improve warehouse efficiency and workflow.

Product Assembly & Preparation

  • Assemble and prepare Chromag products for inventory and sale.
  • Apply decals, packaging, labeling, and finishing processes.
  • Print product labels and barcodes.
  • Organize assembly supplies and maintain production workspaces.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members helping with assembly tasks.

Build the Culture

  • Culture is something we shape by showing up, supporting others, and staying true to the riding community.
  • Support your team where needed, such as helping with walk-in customers in our showroom when busy.
  • Participate with Chromag events such as Show ‘n Shine, Trail Nights, and other community initiatives.
  • Contribute to special projects across departments.
  • Represent Chromag positively within the mountain bike community.
