TEMP: SLCC New Years Party – Cooks / Bartenders / Servers

The Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre is hosting their annual New Years Party on Dec 31st, and they need YOU to make this awesome event a huge success!

We’re looking for Cooks, Bartenders, and Servers to jump in and make some GREAT extra income. Check out the details and BONUSES below!

POSITION: Line Cook

• DATE: Wednesday, December 31st
• HOURS: 2:00pm-10:00pm
• LOCATION: SLCC, Whistler
• DUTIES: Responsible for preparing both basic and complex dishes according to the banquet menu’s specifications. Helps manage or guide junior kitchen staff. Coordinate with banquet event orders and alignment with other chefs or front-of-house teams.
• SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 3+ years of cook experience / first cook experience is required.
• WAGES: $30-$39/hr
  • + $4/hr Holiday Bonus!
  • + 4% vacation pay
  • Whistler Personnel uses a progressive pay system that awards pay increases based on the number of Successful Shifts completed. The more you work with us, the more you get paid per hour and many shifts include extra bonuses per hour. Ask us for more details! POSITION: Bartenders

• DATE: Wednesday, December 31st
• HOURS: 4:00pm-10:00pm
• LOCATION: SLCC, Whistler
• DUTIES: Assist with bartending at a banquet. Serving drinks, setting up the bar, and bussing if needed. Pitch in where needed.
• SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: A Serving-It-Right certificate is required, and bartending experience.
• WAGES: $22-$26/hr
  • + $4/hr Holiday Bonus!
  • + 4% vacation pay

• DATE: Wednesday, December 31st
• HOURS: 4:00pm-10:00pm
• LOCATION: SLCC, Whistler
• DUTIES: Assist with serving at a banquet. Serving, cleaning and bussing. Pitch in where needed. Also assisting with some light venue set up.
• SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: A Serving-It-Right certificate is required, and serving experience. You should feel comfortable walking up and down the stairs for delivering food if not using the elevator.
• WAGES: $22-$26/hr
  • + $4/hr Holiday Bonus!
  • + 4% vacation pay
