About the Role, Benefits & Perks:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.

  • Salary starting based on experience:
    • $52,000 to $56,000 per year for more junior level candidates.
    • $57,000 to $70,000 per year for those with 2+ years of experience.

  • Every other weekend is a three day weekend.

The Perfect Candidate: 

  • Positive can-do attitude with great attention to detail and eager to build a long-term career in Whistler.
  • 2+ years of experience with full cycle accounting and human resources is preferred.
  • Open to more junior experience for the right motivated candidate.
  • Post secondary training in accounting is an asset.
  • Strong computer skills with experience working in QuickBooks Online or other accounting-related software and MS Excel.
  • Career-driven and eager to grow within a company
  • Strong organization and time-management skills
  • Team player who takes initiative and jumps in to help where needed.
  • Able to manage time and prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and work well independently.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Reconcile Accounts & Generate Owner Statements.
  • Account Payables & Non Resident Tax remittances.
  • Quarterly Reviews & GST returns.
  • Defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
  • Participate in hiring, orientating and training of new staff members.
  • Coordinate Payroll and benefits for staff.
  • Manage the teams schedule and time off requests.
  • Defining operational procedures to support the team.
  • Provide daily operation support as needed.
