This Squamish based Autobody shop is seeking an experienced Automotive Collision Technician with a good mechanical aptitude, good interpersonal and leadership skills, and the ability to work well independently .

  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment related to collision repair.
  • ICAR Gold or Platinum is an asset.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Inspecting vehicles to assess the extent of damage post-collision.
  • Performing repairs on vehicles using techniques such as welding, grinding, and painting.
  • Removing and replacing damaged body panels and parts accurately and efficiently.
  • Aligning vehicle frames and bodies to pre-collision specifications.
  • Utilizing diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot issues with electrical systems and mechanical components.
  • Ensuring all repairs are completed in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.

Mobile Bike Mechanic

True Mobile Bike Mechanics is expanding with a second van that requires a BIKE MECHANIC to service Whistler Full Time.   We specialize in mountain bikes but work on all types of bikes, delivering accurate diagnostics, repairs, maintenance packages upgrades and builds.  Servicing the Sea-to-Sky corridor we deeply care about maintaining quality — for the right mechanic, there are excellent perks and independence.

  • Full time, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (you coose your days)

  • Schedule flexibility to maximize riding time through the seasons. Ride when its light out, wrench when its dark.

  • 3–5 years experience as a bike mechanic. Can work alone, and can problem solve.
  • Courses or certifications related to bike mechanic
  • Comfortable fully disassembling and reassembling bikes, including internals of levers, droppers, pedals, drivetrains and enjoy doing it with ease (not suspension)
  • Enjoys working independently in a quiet, focused environment
  • Able to produce roughly 6–7 billable labour hours per day
  • Strong diagnostic skills and able to recommend repairs or upgrades without being pushy
  • Takes pride in doing work properly and consistently and ability to communicate technical details to clients
  • Clean driving record (3 years min)

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Run the mobile bike shop and go to clients houses
  • Meet minimum billable labour quota per day
  • Provide accurate diagnostics for bikes
  • Execute mechanics/repairs per manufacturers recommendations. Knowledge of brand specific procedures
  • Manage inventory (buying only required for custom orders for clients; rest of inventory is done by owner)
  • Identify opportunities to sell retail such as brakes, wheels, suspension for bike upgrades.
  • Maintain clean space and appropriate vehicle checks

Rob’s Autoshop is looking for skilled auto mechanics to join their small but growing team. Preference for red seal mechanics (or equivalent), but also looking for apprentices – anyone with a passion for automotives and a desire to learn!   • Must hold a valid driver’s license.

JOB TITLE: Service Technician
LOCATION: Pemberton, BC
TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Full Time
JOB SUMMARY: Service all major brands of powersports produced in the last 10 model years including snowmobiles, ATVs, UTVs, dirt and street bikes.
THE PERFECT CANDIDATE – Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum 3 years experience in the powersports or relevant industry.
  • Preference will be given to those with certifications and previous factory schooling
  • Computer skills and working on mobile devices
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of engine systems, from dirt bikes to snowmobiles, transmissions, braking systems, and electrical components.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work alone, as well as in a team.
  • Ability to rebuild an engine or machine.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on units per set checklists, including oil changes, brake and multi point inspections.
  • Use the provided diagnostic software to help identify any issues on the units.
  • Conduct machine inspections.
  • Doucment all repair work and update the relevant repair orders, in the dealership tracking software.
  • Stay updated on new and improved techniques and new machines launched.
  • Stay up to date on required new provided training
  • Communicate efficiently with the Service Coordinator to provide the best customer service possible.
  • Advise the Service Coordinator on any recommended services or repairs.
SCHEDULE DETAILS:
  • Tuesday – Saturday (shift hours flexible)
  • 40 hours per week

  • $30 – $35/hr
