About the Role, Benefits & Perks:

  • Full-time: 40 hours per week working a blend of daytime, evening, weekend and weekday shifts.  Must have flexible availability.

The Perfect Candidate: 

  • 1 to 2+ years of experience guest services and hospitality is required.
  • Supervisory experience or a strong desire to grow in a leadership role is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; people-oriented with good relationship building skills.
  • Positive and optimistic with a friendly attitude; enjoys helping others and jumps in where needed.
  • Demonstrated self-starter and highly motivated.
  • Computer savvy with knowledge of MS Office Suite, CRM systems and POS systems.  Experience using Maestro PMS software, CASH, Saflok Key Card System is an asset!

Responsibilities Include: 

  • The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the Front Office, Bell and Valet team.
  • Assisting the Front Office Manager in all aspects of Front Office operations
  • Ensuring that all front-of-house staff provide excellent guest service that meets or exceeds the standards and policies of the hotel.
  • In collaboration with Front Office Manager, creating and entering schedules in for employees.
  • Motivating Front Office staff members to achieve consistently superior guest service, including training, coaching, and performance reviews.
  • Liaising with the Housekeeping and Maintenance Departments to ensure outstanding guest satisfaction.
  • Assisting with inventory management and reporting as required.
  • Working with Front Office Manager to ensure that budgeted revenues are attained and costs are controlled.
  • Assisting the Credit Manager in dealing with guest billing concerns.
