Senior Sales Associate

The locally owned Whistler Kitchen Works in Marketplace is hiring a full-time Senior Sales Associate to join their team, and you’re invited to the kitchen party!!!   If you have a passion for cooking, kitchenware and/or an interest in home decor, they want to hear from you!  Take your experience in retail to another level by engaging conversations with customers, merchandising, managing operations of the store, and solving the world’s problems one spatula at a time!    Think you would like to do this part time?   Reach out. About the Role, Benefits & Perks:

• Full-time, year round.  (reach out for possible part time positions)
• 4-5 days/week (Open 7 days a week 10am-7pm). Set schedule.
• Working a viariety of days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Wage starting in the range of $21-23/hr based on experience.
• Whistler, BC.  Marketplace location.
• Your choice of health benefits or recreation credit after completion of probationary period.
• Lot 4/5 parking pass or bus pass.

The Perfect Candidate: 

• Proven experience in retail sales or equivalent industry.
• Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering, and basic math for transactions.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities.
• Strong phone/text etiquette when interacting with customers.

Responsibilities Include: 

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Receive deliveries and merchandise items appropriately.
• Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments.
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked and visually appealing.
• Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and product placement.
• Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy.
• Uphold store policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.
