TEMP: Housekeepers and Cleaners

Shifts for temp housekeepers, cleaners and housepersons are abound throughout Whistler, and they’re an absolutely excellent way to supplement your income whenever you have a free day! Experience is not usually required, and should you have experience, let us know—it pays an extra $3/hr! It’s totally up to you what shifts you want to work, so enjoy that full control of your work schedule to make the most of the Sea-to-Sky!

  • HOURS: Morning, evening & overnight shifts for 6-8 hours.

Whistler Personnel uses a progressive pay system that awards pay increases based on the number of Successful Shifts completed. The more you work with us, the more you get paid per hour, and many shifts include extra bonuses per hour, as well.  Ask us for more details!

Successful Shifts = be on time, work hard and make our clients happy. These can be in any temp position with Whistler Personnel.


Housekeepers / Cleaners:
  • TIMES:  8am-9.30am starts, usually running for 6-8hrs
  • DUTIES: Assisting with the cleaning of rooms, removal of linens and garbage, stocking of supplies and pitching in where needed.
  • SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Friendly, hard-working and happy to pitch in where needed. Experience is not usually required, though experience can mean an extra $3/hr!
  • WAGE: $20-$28/hr + 4% vacation pay

Assistant housekeeper (No experience required)

    • PROBY (Tier 1) = $21/hr to start
    • REGULAR (Tier 2) = $23/hr after 10 successful shifts
    • HERO (Tier 3) = $25/hr after 20 successful shifts

Experienced housekeeper  (6+ months prior housekeeping experience required):

    • PROBY (Tier 1) = $24/hr to start
    • REGULAR (Tier 2) = $26/hr after 10 successful shifts
    • HERO (Tier 3) = $28/hr after 20 successful shifts

*Initial shift will be used to verify experience and cleaning skills by our clients.


Housepersons/Stewards:
  • TIMES:  9am-5pm
  • DUTIES: Assisting with the delivery of supplies to rooms for guests, restocking of carts, shelves and linens, cleaning public areas, removal of garbage and happy to pitch in where needed.
  • SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: No experience required. Friendly, hard-working and happy to pitch in where needed.
  • WAGE: $20-$24/hr + 4% vacation pay
    • PROBY (Tier 1) = $20/hr to start
    • REGULAR (Tier 2) = $22/hr after 10 successful shifts
    • HERO (Tier 3) = $24/hr after 20 successful shifts

Night Cleaners (Graveyard Shift = an extra $2/hour!):
  • TIMES:  Starting around 10:30pm and working overnight
  • DUTIES: Cleaning public areas, washrooms and restaurants. Vacuuming, dusting, scrubbing and general cleaning where required.
  • SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: No experience required. Friendly, hard-working and happy to pitch in where needed.
  • WAGE: $20-$24/hr + 4% vacation pay
    • PROBY (Tier 1) = $20/hr to start + $2/hr Graveyard Bonus
    • REGULAR (Tier 2) = $22/hr after 10 successful shifts + $2/hr Graveyard Bonus
    • HERO (Tier 3) = $24/hr after 20 successful shifts + $2/hr Graveyard Bonus
