Interviewing Max Turner

In the year 2083, Tess Lillian interviews Max Turner, one of the oldest residents in Sunnyside Nursing Home in Christchurch, New Zealand. The world has changed significantly due to advances in technology, including immortality and renewable energy sources. Aging and the health sector have declined as people pursue eternal life. Tess, an 18-year-old journalist, questions whether these advances are causing humans to lose an essential part of life. She visits Max, who helped develop quasi immortality but never underwent the procedure. Max criticizes how humanity lost its essence by conquering time and altering its history.
