One of Whistler’s home grown success stories has a spot on the team for an Warehouse and Shipping Coordinator.  Ideally suited for an avid mountain biker with extensive knowledge of bikes and retail sales experience. Offers an excellent starting wage and a flexible full-time schedule including Friday Rides and 3-day weekends.

About the Role:

  • Full-time, year-round career position with lots of room for growth.
  • Flexible 32-40 hrs per week schedule; usually Mon-Thur 8:30-5:00 with some alterations during the pandemic.
  • Starting immediately or as soon as available.
  • Starting wage in the range of $18 to $20 per hour depending on experience.

The Perfect Candidate:

  • Avid mountain biker with a love and passion for the mountain bike industry.
  • 1+ year’s experience working in front-line customer service position.
  • Professional, personable with excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management and planning skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships and communicate with people effectively.
  • Computer Skills, Tech savvy: MS Office, Excel, Word, G-Suite, ERPs.
  • Team player. Work with others to solve problems and assist when needed.
  • Must be a really good personality fit with the rest of the team and able to build positive relationships with customers and coworkers.
  • Shipping experience and previous warehouse experience as asset.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Process daily online orders in an accurate and efficient manner; this includes picking orders from the warehouse, preparing items to be shipped and processing the shipping.
  • Communicate with online store customers via email or phone.
  • Coordinate returns and exchanges for the online store.
  • Be an expert in our shipping systems and logistics – Canada Post, Fedex, freight forwarding.
  • Work with the Sales team to coordinate shipments to distributors, dealers and customers.
  • Receive product, keep warehouse organized, perform regular inventory counts.
  • Maintain inventory of packing supplies, boxes, tools etc.
    Assist customers in the showroom and processing sales when necessary.
  • Assemble products including finishing, decals, packaging and storing.
  • Other projects as assigned by management.
