- Event shifts all summer long!

We are now hiring fun and outgoing  EVENT HOSTS and SERVERS  to assist with an awesome SQUAMISH event THIS WEEKEND! Design your own schedule based on your availability.  Pays $18 – $20/hour.

WORK ASSIGNMENTS AVAILABLE:

EVENT CREW

  • DATES & TIMES:  
    • Shifts available 7 days a week all summer long.
    • Shift times vary and are expected to be between 4-8 hours long.
  • DUTIES INCLUDE:  Assist with event decor and setup, work as event hosts and checkin crew, assist with event games and activities and a wide variety of event duties as directed.
  • QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Friendly, hard-working and happy to pitch in where needed.  Prior event experience an asset.

 

BACKYARD APRES  EVENT CREW

  • DATES & TIMES:  
    •  Saturday, June 29th 2:00pm-8:00pm
    • PLUS future dates TBC
    • Shift times may vary and expected to be between 4-6 hours long.
  • DUTIES INCLUDE: Work as ticket takers at the front gates of the Festival. Help with wristbanding and monitoring the entrance and other basic duties as directed.
  • QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Friendly, hard-working and happy to pitch in where needed. Prior event experience an asset.
  • ***SERVING SHIFTS REQUIRE A SERVING IT RIGHT CARD #
  • DATES, TIMES & NUMBER OF SHIFTS:  STAGE TAKE DOWN EVENT CREW
    • Saturday, June29 @ 9pm – 1am (ish) x 2 workers
    • Shifts are expected to last 4-6 hours
  • DUTIES INCLUDE:   Assist with taking down the main stage at an event.    Requires heavy lifting (50lbs) and full mobility.
  • SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:  Strong and physically fit. Friendly, hard-working and happy to pitch in where needed.
  • ATTIRE:   Steel toed or solid work boots preferred.  Work gloves recommended.  Long hair tied back.   Outdoor shifts so dress accordingly – wear warm and waterproof layers.

 

WAGES:   $18-$20/hr

Whistler Personnel uses a progressive pay system that awards pay increases based on number of Successful Shifts completed.  The more you work with us, the more you get paid per hour!

  • Tier 1 = $18/hr to start plus 4% vacation pay
  • Tier 2 = $19/hr after 5 successful shifts plus 4% vacation pay
  • Tier 3 = $20/hr after 10 successful shifts plus 4% vacation pay
  • Successful Shifts = be on time, work hard and make our clients happy. These can be in any temp position with Whistler Personnel.
