Some exciting September Events are on the horizon!  We have over 60 shifts available for  EVENT CREWS  to assist with these fun and exciting events – and they are going fast.

GranFondo Whistler is a cycling celebration with 6000 riders pedaling from Vancouver to Whistler on Sept 10th.

Everesting 29029 will be coming to Whistler between Sept16 to 24th and features hundreds of elite athletes Ascending Blackcomb until they reach 29,029 vertical feet  – equal to climbing the highest mountain in the world!

Progressive Wage of $20 to $25/hour plus vacation pay, overtime rates and the potential for perks and rewards!  Which means that you can earn up to $285 per shift.

POSITION: GranFondo Event Crews

  • DATES:  Shifts available Thurs, Sept 8 to Sat Sept10th.
  • TIMES:  AM and PM shifts avail ranging from 5-8hrs per day.
  • DUTIES INCLUDE:  Assist the volunteers and participants ,  restock supplies and pitch in as needed during the event.   Also includes the setup and take down of gates, tables, bike racks and equipment before and after the event.
  • SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:   Must be energetic, friendly, hard-working and happy to pitch in where needed.  Also must be physically capable to work on your feed for long periods and lift moderately heavy loads.

POSITION:  Everesting  29029

  • DATES:  Shifts available Fri Sept16 to Sat Sept 17th and  Fri Sept23 to Sat Sept24th.
  • TIMES:  AM, PM & Overnight shifts averaging 10hrs long *overtime wages will apply.
  • DUTIES INCLUDE:  Assist participants and volunteers at aid stations including maintaining a clean and safe workspace, cheering on participants throughout the event and pitching in where needed.  Also includes set up and take down of the aid stations and equipment before and after the event.
  • SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Must be energetic, friendly, hard-working and happy to pitch in where needed.  Also must be physically capable to work on your feed for long periods and lift moderately heavy loads.

WAGES:  *no prior experience necessary

Whistler Personnel uses a progressive pay system that awards pay increases based on number of Successful Shifts completed.  The more you work with us, the more you get paid per hour!

  • PROBY (Tier 1) = $20/hr to start plus 4% vacation pay
  • REGULAR (Tier 2) = $22/hr after 10 successful shifts plus 4% vac  pay
  • HERO (Tier 3) = $23/hr after 20 successful shifts plus 4% vac pay
  • PLUS A FREE EVENT T-SHIRT! 👕
  • PLUS AN EXTRA $2/HR GRAVEYARD BONUS for overnight shifts that start after 10:30pm
  • PLUS OVERTIME of 1.5 x the hourly wage (equal to $30 – $37.50/hr) when working more than 8 hrs per day

Successful Shifts = be on time, work hard and make our clients happy. These can be in any temp position with Whistler Personnel.
