The Lead Carpenter at Murphy Construction will be the vital link between the site crew and the Site Supervisor, balancing master-level building skills with daily on-site management. You will lead the team through technical builds and blueprint execution, all while ensuring safety and steady progress. By managing daily workflows and material needs, you act as the primary “in-between,” keeping the site running smoothly and ensuring the Site Supervisor is informed on all phases of construction.

The Perfect Candidate:
- 5 years experience.
- Red Seal Certification- Carpentry.
- Situational Leadership.
- Tactical Problem-Solving.
- Strong Reporting Skills.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assign specific tasks and ensure the team remains productive and on schedule.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the Site crew and the Site Supervisor to ensure goals are aligned.
- Enforce strict safety protocols on-site, ensuring the crew operates tools and equipment correctly and maintains a clean workspace.
- Interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications, converting them into clear, actionable instructions for the team.
- Address and troubleshoot immediate site challenges or discrepancies in the field, escalating major issues to the Supervisor with proposed solutions.
