A boutique investment management firm in Whistler is seeking an Executive Assistant to join their team on a contract basis.  Offering exceptional growth potential for a motivated and driven executive to grow into an operations role and build a long-term career with the company.  Best suited for someone with exceptional administrative skills and a background in finance/bookkeeping.

The Perfect Candidate: 

  • 3+ years experience in an executive level administrative position with a finance/bookkeeping background.
  • Experience supporting the efficient operations of an organization.
  • Strong knowledge in full-cycle bookkeeping including managing accounts receivable/payable and government reporting.
  • Working towards CPA designation is an asset.
  • High level of professionalism with strong communication skills.
  • Friendly, approachable with good relationship management skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the  ability to manage several projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • A proactive and growth mindset, where creative problem solving is your forte.
  • Strong IT literacy, with the demonstrated ability and enthusiasm to learn how to use new software quickly and effectively.

Responsibilities Includes:  

  • Corresponding with clients and managing effective relationships; assisting with client onboarding.
  • Day to day office operations including managing accounts receivable/payable, monitoring email/phones and answering inquiries, data entry, file management.
  • Managing workflows to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Working towards the following responsibilities:
    • Optimizing and implementing workflows for compliance and operations, which includes: Preparation and filing of monthly compliance reports, Preparation of quarterly client account reports and invoices, Project based work to optimize the firm’s operations and compliance workflows.
  • Working closely with owner on various projects.
