Team
Coaching
Purpose
To
teach any team to work better
together by building relationships
and completing tasks to fulfill
their common mandate and corporate
goals. Team coaching combines
the opportunity to learn specific
skills of team dynamics as
well as personal and professional
growth and development. Team
coaching challenges the team
as well as the individual.
Benefits
Our
challenging business climate
presents hectic work environments,
staff shortages and increased
expectations making it vital
to nurture those carrying the
load. Managers need support
and skills to enable the company
to run efficiently and ultimately
to create guest satisfaction
and staff retention.
How it
works
The
facilitator provides exercises
that enable the team to reflect
and take action on areas of
accountability. The focus is
on group and individual exercises,
action and accountability. Participants
are held accountable each week
for accomplishing the items
to which they committed.
One on one coaching
for managers
Purpose
One-on-one
coaching is a gift for
any leader. The
purpose is to provide
the manager with a specific
skill development opportunity.
Benefits
The
benefits of one-on-one coaching
are numerous since issues are
dealt with as they arise. The
focus is on strengthening and
developing a broader range
of managerial skills within
the client's own firm. The
client is solely held responsible
for their development and participation
with the coach.
How it
works
Coaching
generally takes place once
professional development issues
have been identified. The
coach, manager and senior managers
establish and agree on the
areas for development. The
coach and manager take it from
there. The manager is
the client and does not report
anything other than meeting
dates to the senior person. Confidentiality
is of utmost importance. It
is up to the client (manager)
to discuss progress with his/her
boss. The client and the coach
meet on the phone over a 2
to 3 month period.
